“Stevns is Klintekongens Kingdom”
Stevns is a unique part of Denmark. The beautiful wild nature and rich local folklore inspired many famous writers, poets and other creators.
The tales of the Elverhøj (The Elf Hill), a mysterious place where elven girls dance under the stars and the elf king Klintekongen resides, have a central place in the local folklore. At Stevns Folklore museum you can learn about the places where the magic lives, about mythical creatures and the culture and history of Stevns.
