What is interesting about folklore from Stevns?
Stevns has a unique folklore, with the folktale of Elverhøj (The Elf Hill), elverfolk (the elf people), Klintekongen (the King of the Cliff) and much more. This rich local history with traditions, superstition and wisdom must of course be preserved and collected.
The museum is a place and a portal that collects all the mysterious and exciting legends and stories from Stevns. Stories and folk tales from Stevns are told here in a new way – and first and foremost in a child-friendly way.
The museum is an interactive and entertaining experience. The focus is on creating a holistic experience that gives lots of impressions – not just the classic museum visit with pictures and text on a wall.
